Lady Fair Laundry - Logo Recreation

Lady Fair Laundry is a chain of Laundromats in Pueblo, Colorado. I got into contact with a friend of the owner when the company was struggling to get the logo screen printed/embroidered for their employees uniforms. What they needed was someone to recreate the logo as vector art to send off to companies. I do logo redesigns/recreations daily as a graphic designer so It took no time at all to quickly and accurately redesign this logo. To keep things consistent I even took the design process a step further and threw together a branding guide including the font, Pantone colors, and separate versions of the logo so that they could keep the design consistent regardless of where the logo was sent to be printed.

I started the process with two images of the current store/branding. With a combination of Procreate and Adobe Illustrator I was able to recreate almost a perfect copy of the previous logo. I wasn’t able to match the font exactly, but I was able to grab a similar font to the sign off the company website. I listed this in the branding guide and included the .ott file in the files I sent. This would keep the branding consistent and give whoever is working with the art in the future with a solid foundation.
